Easily arriving in first place is one of our favourite venues of all time, and top of our list for all Barcelona wedding venues, the fantastic Castell de Sant Marçal.
Situated just outside Barcelona city, the iconic tower of this beautiful castle venue is instantly recognizable and makes for some incredibly epic photos. The grounds around the castle provide the perfect space to make your dream wedding day come true. These photos are just a small example of the type of amazing ceremony you can create at Castell de Sant Marçal, the photo above even ended up winning an award for worldwide best wedding photos of the year!

2. Mas Torroella
Mas Torroella is another of our favourite venues near Barcelona. This unique venue has been meticulously restored over the years, taking it from a ruined masia to a beautiful, modern escape complete with built in pool and spa room. One fantastic feature of Mas Torroella is “The Ruins”, a beautifully renovated ceremony location at the back of the property. Literally the ruins of part of the ancient buildings on the property, we had the privilege of photographing the first ceremony at this magical location.

3. Castell d’Emporda
Easily in the top selection of any list of Barcelona wedding venues, and just a 1.5 hour drive from the heart of Barcelona city, this spectacular venue is one of the best that all of Catalonia has to offer. Sitting at the top of a hill surrounded by its own tiny iconic Spanish town, the building, grounds, and entire surrounding area offer countless opportunities to design the wedding of your dreams. A fully restored classic Spanish Casa, this venue has become incredibly popular in the past few years, and for good reason.
