Rustic Farm Wedding Photographers // Brad & Rachel – Vancouver BC

Brad and Rachel contacted us to photograph their wedding day so we made plans with them to meet with them for some drinks to discuss all the details of their day and get to know each other a little bit. We had such a great time with them and it felt like meeting up with old friends. Sooner than later we started to realize that their wedding was gonna be amazing, not only because they were planning an incredible day but also because they are fantastic people. The wedding location, Brad’s farm and the surrounding area is beyond gorgeous and make for a great photographic backdrop, and we were immediately filled with ideas of the amazing photos that we might be able to take for them on their big day… then they told us about the helicopter.

Yeah, that is gonna make it a little more interesting…

They explained to us how they wanted to fly to the top of a nearby mountain so that we could get some incredible photos of them, and then they could arrive at the farm in style, by helicopter of course. Well we of course were super stoked, I mean how often does your job necessitate that you fly to the top of a mountain in a helicopter with no doors? Needless to say the photos turned out fantastic (the portrait of Rachel is in my collection of favourites I’ve ever taken) and Brad and Rachel made an incredible entrance at the farm.

The day itself went off without a hitch, and we loved capturing every minute of it. Congratulations to Brad and Rachel, you two were incredible. Thank you for trusting us to document your day, and thanks for the helicopter ride!!
