What is a wedding?

With endless personalities in this world, there are a million different responses. To some this is an important day to be with their family, to others this is day to party like it’s 1999 with everyone they know, and to some it’s a personal day to celebrate their love with just their other half.

Regardless of what a wedding day is to you it always makes us so happy to meet couples who stay true to themselves and do what they would like to do rather than what they feel they should do. Whether that’s having the amazing huge wedding that they always dreamed about, or whether it’s to elope in a secluded spot special to only them. Steve and Mika have a special place in our hearts, their wedding was completely stripped down, simply about the love they have for each other. Cherry blossoms have a special significance in their relationship so they decided to get married under the cherry blossom trees at UBC with just a few of their closest friends and family members. And it was beautiful.
